  (출처: 밸브) ​ ​ 밸브가 2026년 출시를 목적으로 스팀 OS 게임 컴퓨터인 스팀 머신과 가상현실 헤드셋인 스팀 프레임, 그리고 새로운 스팀 컨트롤러를 공개했습니다. 스팀 프레임은 스냅드래곤 8 Gen 3는 물론 16GB LPDDR5X 메모리와 256GB 혹은 1TB UFS + microSD 슬롯을 내장해 단독으로도 AR 게임을 즐길 수 있습니다. 2160 x 2160 해상도의 해상도와 72/120/144Hz, 110도의 FOV를 지원합니다. 단독 기기 무게는 185g으로 메타 퀘스트보다 가볍고 배터리, 오디오, 쿠션을 포함하면 440g 정도입니다. ​ (스팀 프레임 스펙) ​ ​ (동영상) ​ ​ (스팀 머신 핸즈 온) ​ ​ (스팀 프레임 핸즈 온) ​ ​ 스팀 머신은 스팀 OS를 사용하는 게임 컴퓨터로 게임 큐브와 비슷한 외형을 지니고 있습니다. 무게 2.6kg에 152 x 162 x 156mm 정도의 크기로 앞부분에 원하는 디자인의 그림을 끼워 사용할 수 있습니다. 프로세서는 AMD의 커스텀 제품으로 Zen 4 6C/12T, 4.8GHz, 30W TDP의 스펙을 지니고 있으며 GPU 부분은 RDNA3 28 CUs의 세미 커스텀 칩으로 2.45GHz의 클럭과 110W의 TDP를 지니고 있습니다. 이는 라데온 RX 7600 (Navi 33)보다 약간 낮은 수치로 보이며 성능도 그 수준일 가능성이 높아 보입니다. 메모리 역시 GDDR6 8GB를 사용하며 시스템 메모리는 16GB DDR5 입니다. ​ (스팀 머신 스펙) ​ 고성능 게임 머신은 아니지만, 대부분의 스팀 게임을 1080p 해상도로 실행하기에는 무리가 없는 수준입니다. 아마도 이 제품의 평가는 가격이 얼마로 책정되느냐에 따라 달라질 것 같습니다. 다만 현재 메모리 가격이 치솟고 있고 SSD 가격도 올라간 상태라 처음 생각한 것보다 비싸질 가능성이 충분합니다. 가격이 너무 올라가면 조립 PC나 게임기와 비교해서 큰 메리트가 없을 것으로 보이는데, 과연 스팀 머신이 시장에서 성공을...
